2. What we collect
We only collect information you actively choose to give us. We do not build profiles of visitors.
Information you submit through the enquiry form
When you complete the enquiry form on our contact page, we receive:

Information collected automatically
When your enquiry is submitted, our server records the IP address it was sent from, together with the date and time. We use this only to investigate spam and abuse of the form.
Our web host also keeps standard server access logs, which typically include IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These are generated by the hosting infrastructure rather than by us, and are used for security and troubleshooting.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. We do not run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking script, and we do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
The only thing we store in your browser is a single preference recording that you have seen and dismissed our privacy notice, so that it does not reappear on every page. It contains no personal information and no identifier. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
If we introduce analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.
4. Third parties who may receive data
We do not sell your personal data. A small number of third parties are necessarily involved in running this site:
- Google Fonts. Our pages load typefaces from Google's servers. As a technical consequence of any web request, Google may receive your IP address and browser information. Google does not receive your enquiry details. See Google's privacy policy.
- WhatsApp (Meta). If you choose to click our WhatsApp button, you are taken to WhatsApp and their privacy terms apply to that conversation. Nothing is shared with WhatsApp unless you click.
- Our web host and email provider. They process enquiry data on our behalf purely in order to deliver it to us.
5. Why we process your data
We process the information you submit in order to:
- respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation;
- contact you about the logistics services you asked about;
- keep a record of business correspondence; and
- protect the website against spam and misuse.
Our basis for this is your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box and submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. You can withdraw consent at any time using the contact details in section 9.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a reasonable record of business correspondence, and thereafter for the period required by applicable tax and company law. If you ask us to delete your enquiry and we are not legally required to retain it, we will do so.
7. How we protect your data
Enquiries are validated on our server, screened for spam, and transmitted to our business mailboxes. Access is limited to the JSM Logistics staff who handle customer enquiries.
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive information — such as financial account details, identity document numbers, or passwords — through the enquiry form. We will never ask you for those by email.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
- Erase your data where we have no continuing legal reason to keep it;
- Withdraw consent to further contact from us; and
- Complain to the relevant data protection authority if you believe we have mishandled your data.
We aim to respond to any such request within 30 days.
9. Children
This website offers business-to-business logistics services and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The revision date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
